Here are our end-of-year deadlines, carefully set to ensure we can deliver your orders in time for the Holidays. Our dates are always a little cautious because everything we do is made to order, and we ship all over the world. Earlier cut offs help us manage stock requirements, queries, proofs etc. and production during the busiest season. Couriers will also be under heavy demand, so we encourage you to get in early & allow extra time for shipping. As always we always get a lot more work out post cut off, but materials sometimes do run out depending on demand, and not all requests can be met. To View More >>

We're selling more smaller albums these days, but we're stoked to see people still opting for the big books! Our 18x10 albums allow for lots of images, and high impact story-telling with their radical panoramic pages. And they translate perfectly into copy albums for parents and loved ones too. (If you've included lots of small images we recommend 10in copies for albums of this size.) This 18x10 is by husband and wife team Neil and Katherine of Tandem Photography, Christchurch, New Zealand. The beautiful imagery in our album of the week caught our attention as it went through the bindery — we love how the natural elements and earthy tones work perfectly with the Tan Faux Leather. Photographer Jon Gazzignato of Tasmania, Australia, shared some of the stand-out moments from the day. "The wedding was held at Riversdale Estate in Tasmania during Summer. The ceremony was supposed to be out on the courtyard overlooking the vineyard and Coal River Valley." "Just as the bride was about to walk out, a storm struck and the 80+ guests had to run for cover. We've made some much-requested changes to our Q Book range: • We've added two extra sizes, A4 and A3. A3 and A4 are standard paper sizes in much of the world, but for those who aren't familiar they equate to approximately* 12x8" and 16x12" respectively (30x21 and 42x30cm). • You can now order both Q Book Lights and Mediums in the large A3 and 15x12 sizes. Although they are fairly similar we will run both sizes side by side for the time being. Designing Q Books The new A4 and A3 books do look great, and they're easy to design with the Workspace Album To View More >>

A long post but full of insights! Andy Fountain explains how he and Lewis developed their unique style of wedding photography, how almost every coverage includes an album, and the pay-off for both their clients and the studio. There are two photographers at Fountain Photography. How do you and Lewis work together to capture the big day? Lewis is now my business partner, rather than simply an employee and second shooter. Mid-photography degree, we brought Lewis in to the business with the idea of eventually shooting two weddings a day, and making twice the profit. But while To View More >>

UPDATED: corrected an error with the Faux Leather selection. We're getting ready to introduce new cover material and embossing options, and we're pretty excited about it. But first we need to say goodbye to some of the existing range. It's hard turning our back on things we love, but we need to make way for the new. And normally the reason is simple … not enough sales. The good news is that the discontinued materials will be available "while stocks last". We just won't be reordering them, and we won't be including them in our swatches, which we're To View More >>
